Sterilisation
Sterilisation is meant as a permanent method of contraception, suitable for people who are sure they never want children or do not want more children. However, there can be a failure rate of 1 in 200 for women, and 1 in 2000 for men (vasectomy). It should be pointed out that choosing a LARC method of contraception (see above) is just as effective or more effective than sterilisation.
