Condoms are the best way to protect yourself against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unwanted pregnancy.
There are two types of condoms
- external (male)condoms – worn on the penis
- female condoms – worn inside the vagina
Condom use is very important and carrying them around with you shows you are looking after your sexual health and wellbeing.

Condoms are available to buy in shops or online or get them free of charge from any of our clinics. Young people aged between 13 and 19 years old can sign up to the Sefton C-Card Scheme at a variety of Sefton community venues and the pharmacies where you see this sign
