If you have had unprotected sex and need emergency contraception you can find more details here.

You can now access self-testing for a range of sexually transmitted infections with a testing kit that can be done in the comfort of your own home and without having to visit a clinic. This service is available to people aged 16 and over, who do not have any symptoms (asymptomatic) If you do have symptoms home testing is not right for you. Please contact the service on 01695 656550 to book an appointment.

Completing the tests are easy and full instructions are provided. It is important to complete the test and return it as soon as possible after you have taken your samples. To order you home STI testing kit click here.

If you have been exposed to HIV within the past 72 hours, you can ask for PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis). PEP is a course of medication that can significantly reduce your risk of HIV infection. Click here to find out more about PEP.
